My work is achieved by the use of antique craftsmen's hand tools and the traditional methods of dovetail or hand-pegged joinery. These techniques create some of the sturdiest and longest lasting pieces of furniture available today.

When I begin fabricating a piece of furniture, it is the beauty and warmth of the wood that inspires me to creatively reveal its character. Often, there is a certain grain that catches my eye, which is, in itself, a true work of art. This inspiration allows me to create a focal point in the creation of each piece of furniture.
